I started this one last night and finished it today while I was at CLE. They were all fawning over it too. I'm rather happy with it.
LSFRevan from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic; pretty much drawn for Powerlust, my Star Wars/Stargate SG-1 crossover, in which Revan wears a feminized version of her old robes. The full body is the "Past" Revan, the background drawing the "Present" one.
Spent so much time on this that I don't want to put it in scraps, even though I'm gonna go colour it in Photoshop.
Stats'n'Stuff Time Taken: 4 hours Media: Graphite and ink Tools: Faber-Castell mechanical pencils (.07 and .03), graphite stick, fineliners on Strathmore heavyweight dry media paper, CLE's Ping-Pong table
I wouldn't call that sexist. Everyone has their own individual preferences, and is entitled to them; what I don't like to hear from people is "ZOMG REVAN IS MALE IN CANON Y U DRAW FEM!REVAN?!!11!!1"
Basically, I don't like having male!Revan shoved down my throat Don't worry, you're in the clear.
I do not know what to say...4 hours you say?! This looks so awesome and flawless and beautiful that it could have taken 4...ever.
Furthermore I like the way this was done. Lots of shading, lots of detail. But the best part of all is the facial expressions...she looks so sad, and that seems appropriate here. You have done well. Very well. I'd say more, but this one is so flawless there really isn't anything that I can say. I just can't stop...staring.
