DBFS+RP: Edward Elric Acrylics

So I had 4 unused canvases sitting around my flat, and I decided to figure out what I was going to do with them and work on maybe actually using them. I've been in Full Metal Alchemist mode for maybe two months or so, so I decided that three of them were going to go to the Elric Brothers: one each of them alone, and one of both of them together.

Here's the final version! It was too big to scan, so, I ended up taking a picture of it; this time, though, I went outside and set it in direct sunlight so the colours wouldn't look all wonky.

Like most of my anime fanart, I drew Ed in my semi-realistic style and had to find someone to base his facial features on. That someone was Brady Corbet. (In truth, I've been using Brady for Ed's facial features ever since my friend Ael and I made our RP Journals for Ed and Al back in 2008; she and I both decided to find live-action Played-Bys for them. On a whim. We also made sure to look for two actors who actually looked like they could be brothers; Al's PB is Jason Dolley.)

Liquitex Acrylic (same brand Hiromu Arakawa uses, actually!) on canvas, slightly over a day of work. Gold Prismacolour paint pen used to sign & date it.
