| Rori Aevan is a half-demon mercenary, wandering around the expansive lands of Antis-Ethium with a rag-tag group of followers: Enin Paeldor, a cleric of the god of Protection; Aiden Mori, sorcerer; and Caiman Lyason, thief. The peace between the Nations of Antis-Ethium, which has been kept for nearly 300 years, is about to break, and Rori and her wayward group of traveling companions seem to be the only ones able to stop it. Well, so life goes. There's just one setback: Lorenna, Rori's demon half. She's constantly vying for control of Rori's body, and fighting only makes her stronger. If Lorenna wins out, Antis-Ethium is most likely doomed. But only most likely. One of my original stories. This folder contains all of my artwork for Heart's Discord. ABOUT DJP Greetings! My pseudonym is Dark Jedi Princess. (Don't. Ask.) I am also occasionally known as either Kyuuketsuki Musume or Millennium Angel (or the German alternative, Jahrtausend Engel), or as darkjediprinces on sites with a 15-character username limit (LiveJournal, Twitter, and X-Box Live at the moment). You may call me Kat or DJP if you so wish. Call me "Katherine" (my full first name), however, and there will be much pain involved.  I was born on 25 August in Washington, DC. My parents are/were both lawyers. My mother is also a talented artist, though she has not drawn anything for many years. Despite this, I have many fond memories of her doing graphite sketches of me and my sister Laurie. I also have a half-sister, Victoria, who was born on 13 January 2009. My parents are divorced, and my father is now married to a lovely woman named Bing. He teaches law at the University of Warwick over in the UK. My mother is still practicing civil law in Washington. I lived in London, England for three years, from when I was 11 to the age of 14. It is for this reason I use European date formats and British spelling. I have been drawing since the age of 13, and writing fiction for about the same amount of time. I am also a staunch liberal and a gay rights activist, even though I myself am straight. Three years ago I moved from Washington, DC to Austin, Texas to go to college. I still live there and don't plan on leaving any time soon. I intend to go into the gaming industry when I am finished at college, hopefully as a conceptual character artist. It is my ambition to work for BioWare Corp, who have a studio here. Kiriban, Art Trade, and Commission Rules
| WHAT DOES DJP TAKE? I do not take requests, as I consider them to be an unequal exchange. If I'm going to devote time to drawing something for you, I want something in return. I don't have that much time to work with, after all. The only time I WILL do requests is for Kiriban and Watcher milestones. Every so often I will declare a pageview milestone, or a watcher milestone (IE whoever is the nth person to watch me gets to request something). If you catch that milestone, note me with a screenshot, and you may request a drawing from me. Same rules for Trades and Commissions apply to Kiriban requests. Milestone notices are posted beneath my deviantID, after my bio, on my profile page. I do take Art Trades. Art Trades are drawing requests made of artists in exchange for another drawing. In my case, I will accept fiction in exchange if the requester can't—or doesn't—draw. I do take Commissions. Commissions are essentially the same as Art Trades, except the requester pays the artist they commission. With money. I will do Collaborations with other artists. Collaborations involve two artists working on the same piece. Usually I prefer lineart/colouring collabs, where I am the one doing the colours. RULES FOR KIRIBANS, TRADES, AND COMMISIONS 1. Please make all requests politely... and preferrably in a grammatically-correct manner. I have trouble reading messages that have single letters in place of words ("u" instead of "you", "r" instead of "are", etc.), M3554635 1n 1337 (messages in 1337), and MeSsAgEs In AlTeRnAtInG CaPs, and will likely not respond to them at all. I have a marginal understanding of German as well (like... a year's worth of High School-level classes, and one semester of college-level German), so if you're German/a speaker of German and don't speak English very well, you should be fine . Also, please make your requests as detailed as possible. 2. I am ready and willing to draw FanArt. I would prefer that it be in a fandom that I am familiar with, but it's okay if it's not. 3. I am also willing to draw character designs, however, certain things are expected of the commissioner in these instances: :: A detailed description of the character, including hair colour, style, eye colour, skin tone, and prefered style of clothing; OR a full colour illustration. If you only have a greyscale illustration, you may give me both. Hell, you can give me both even if you have a colour illustration. XD :: Some background. WRITTEN. I won't have time to read an entire story, so a summary will have to suffice. WHY do I ask for background? Because I'm interested! And it might help me with composition . 4. I will NOT draw the following: porn, nude images with depictions of genitalia, depictions of masturbation, the ejecting of waste from the body, depictions of rape (whether it's before, after, during, any), shouta (def.: a Japanese and anime term for a sexual complex where an adult, usually male, is attracted to an underage boy.), Vorarephilia (def.: the interest/sexual fetish in which a person fantasizes about eating another person and/or creature, or being eaten.), gore, inflation, weight gain, "m-preg" (def.: Male pregnancy.), bestiality, sadomasochism, pedophilia, or any other freaky fetish/thing some people come up with. Sorry, it's a matter of personal principle. 5. I WILL draw tasteful nudity, pretty much any amount of violence (although I don't guarantee my ability to properly draw blood spatter), and both same-sex and heterosexual romance. 6. I will draw either anime or realism. Please CHOOSE ONE and tell me which you want in your request. If you do not, I will choose for you. 7. I have trouble with the following, but if you want me to, I will give my best shot at it: :: Machinery & robots :: Japanese Katanas (the curved blade is what throws me  ):: Lightsaber hilts (I can do the blades just fine. Almost perfectly, in fact. It's just the hilts that are an issue.) :: Guns. Of all kinds. (I can do it with a reference, though.) :: Perspective. :: Animals or anything not humanoid. 8. When doing art trades, I will try my very best to request something from my trade partner that is from a fandom they are familiar with.
