Rori Aevan is a half-demon mercenary, wandering around the expansive lands of Antis-Ethium with a rag-tag group of followers: Enin Paeldor, a cleric of the god of Protection; Aiden Mori, sorcerer; and Caiman Lyason, thief. The peace between the Nations of Antis-Ethium, which has been kept for nearly 300 years, is about to break, and Rori and her wayward group of traveling companions seem to be the only ones able to stop it. Well, so life goes. There's just one setback: Lorenna, Rori's demon half. She's constantly vying for control of Rori's body, and fighting only makes her stronger. If Lorenna wins out, Antis-Ethium is most likely doomed. But only most likely. One of my original stories. This folder contains all of my artwork for Heart's Discord. You can read the first draft of the story at its LiveJournal. The journal, however, is friends only, so, if this has piqued your interest, you can drop me a comment on the top entry and I'll add you, assuming you have an LJ.

(1) FanArt may not be used in photomanips or wallpapers without explicit permission. (a) Original art or characters may not be used PERIOD. (This constitutes any character that you do not recognize from a fandom. If you're unsure, ASK.) (b) 1a also goes for commissions and art trades. If a piece is a commission or trade, this will be noted in both the Title and Artist's Comments. (2) I have a stock art gallery at ~DJPStock. If you need stock, go THERE, not here. (3) I do NOT mind if you use any of my pieces as reference images (IE eyeballing it for posing or practice). I do this myself. If you do this, you must let me know and credit me with a link to the referenced art in the artist's comments. (4) I likewise do not mind if you colour any of my lineart. This is also something I enjoy doing with other people (a) Leave my signature intact (b) Credit me in your artist's comments with a link back to the original lineart. (c) Let me know, either via a comment on the lineart deviation itself or via note. (d) YOU MAY NOT SELL ANY OF THE RESULTING WORK. (5) If you use my art (WITH PERMISSION), you must CREDIT me in the artist's comments, with a link back to the original deviation.
WHAT DOES DJP TAKE? The only time I WILL do requests is for Kiriban and Watcher milestones. Every so often I will declare a pageview milestone, or a watcher milestone (IE whoever is the nth person to watch me gets to request something). If you catch that milestone, note me with a screenshot, and you may request a drawing from me. Same rules for Trades and Commissions apply to Kiriban requests. Milestone notices are posted beneath my deviantID, after my bio, on my profile page. RULES FOR KIRIBANS, TRADES, AND COMMISIONS (1) Request Messages: Any commission request I receive should be in English ONLY. I only speak and understand that and a little bit of German. I will also ignore requests made in any "internet lingo", such as chatspeak, AlTeRnAtInG CaPs, or 1337. They are incredibly hard to decipher. For those who speak German but very little or no English, you can go ahead and make your request in German and I will try my very hardest to communicate with you effectively. However, I am not fluent, so be patient with me. (2) Content: I have very specific content regulations. As a general rule, if something violates the deviantART policy on mature content, I will not draw it. Refer to the following for information: Yes, that's a lot of reading, but it's definitely more detailed than I can manage. Here is a basic rundown of my policy, although I still encourage you to read the linked FAQ articles for clearer information: Prohibited Content: I will not draw ANY of the following under ANY circumstances Moderated Content: I will draw these at my discretion. If I decide not to draw something, that decision is final. I Cannot Draw...: I will not draw anything listed below because I am simply not good at it. I Have Difficulty With...: I'll draw these if you REALLY, REALLY want me to. But try to keep these kinds of requests to a bare minimum, okay? Also be aware that, if you request a drawing with anything on this list, there will be a $5 surcharge and a delay in completion. (3) Payment. I can only accept payment via PayPal. No exceptions. You will need to include your PayPal E-Mail with your request so I can keep track of who's paid. You don't have to pay immediately, and I am willing to give you time to get the money you'll need to pay for it. However, once I've finished your piece, I will not be able to deliver it to you until you've paid. All of my prices are in US Dollars ($). If you live outside of the US, I will be happy to calculate the price in your local currency, provided that you tell me what the current exchange rate is. Clearly, this does not apply to Art Trades or Kiribans. (4) Time Frame. While I work very quickly, especially on traditional pieces, I am a college student, and I have to juggle classes with personal obligations, as well as other commissioners. Therefore, I ask that you be patient with me. I promise, however, that I will take no more than two months to finish a piece. (5) Delivery of Finished Work. Once I have finished working on your commission, I will always e-mail you a digital copy of the piece, regardless of whether the piece is traditional or digital. I can also snail-mail you a hard copy or either a traditional or digital piece. Additional cost for a traditional piece is the cost of the postage. For a digital piece, it is $2 + postage (as I have to use photo paper and ink on my printer to make a hard copy). This does not apply to Art Trades or Kiribans. (6) Resale. YOU CANNOT RESELL ANYTHING I DRAW FOR YOU. No exceptions. (7) Posting to Galleries. I will always upload any commission work to my various art galleries, my art journal, and my website. However, if you do not want me to do this, you must inform me when you make your request. (8) Watermarks. All commission and trade work will have a watermark. No exceptions. This includes copies e-mailed to you and hard copies of digital work. (9) Workload. I can only take five (5) commissions or trades at the same time, as I am a college student with numerous obligations outside of classes. (You can blame these guys for that if you want (10) Art Trades: When doing art trades, I will try my very best to request something from my trade partner that is from a fandom they are familiar with. I would very much appreciate it if anyone wishing to art trade with me would return the favour. This and other information (such as my prices for commissions) can be found at my website.

ABOUT DJP Greetings! My pseudonym is Dark Jedi Princess. (Don't. Ask.) I am also occasionally known as either Kyuuketsuki Musume or Millennium Angel (or the German alternative, Jahrtausend Engel), or as darkjediprinces on sites with a 15-character username limit (LiveJournal, Twitter, and X-Box Live at the moment). You may call me Kat or DJP if you so wish. Call me "Katherine" (my full first name), however, and there will be much pain involved. I was born on 25 August in Washington, DC. My parents are/were both lawyers. My mother is also a talented artist, though she has not drawn anything for many years. Despite this, I have many fond memories of her doing graphite sketches of me and my sister Laurie. I also have a half-sister, Victoria, who was born on 13 January 2009. My parents are divorced, and my father is now married to a lovely woman named Bing. He teaches law at the University of Warwick over in the UK. My mother is still practicing civil law in Washington. I lived in London, England for three years, from when I was 11 to the age of 14. It is for this reason I use European date formats and British spelling. I have been drawing since the age of 13, and writing fiction for about the same amount of time. I am also a staunch liberal and a gay rights activist, even though I myself am straight. Three years ago I moved from Washington, DC to Austin, Texas to go to college. I still live there and don't plan on leaving any time soon. I intend to go into the gaming industry when I am finished at college, hopefully as a conceptual character artist. It is my ambition to work for BioWare Corp, who have a studio here. Thank you very much for stopping by my page, and I hope you enjoy my artwork! - Dark Jedi Princess * * * MILESTONE NOTICES In all instances, Trade and Commission Rules Apply. |
ATTENTION: THE FOLLOWING SHOULD BE THE ONLY WEBSITES WHERE YOU FIND MY ARTWORK. IF IT IS SEEN ANYWHERE ELSE, IT HAS BEEN STOLEN, AND YOU SHOULD REPORT IT TO ME AT ONCE! THIS LIST WILL BE KEPT AS UP-TO-DATE AS POSSIBLE; ANY CHANGES WILL BE POSTED IN THIS JOURNAL ENTRY AND IN THIS MODULE.
